A credit is a unit of Alysium AI usage. One credit represents $0.01 of usage. It does not represent a fixed number of messages.

Why messages use different amounts

The model producing a reply and the amount of information it processes affect the cost. A short question and a long conversation with documents can consume different amounts. An allowance of 100 credits therefore does not promise 100 replies. Tokens and credits describe different things. Tokens are pieces of text processed by a model. Credits describe the usage charged to the applicable allowance. Do not read a token counter as your remaining credit balance.

Which allowance pays for an interaction

Your space has its own plan allowance. A purchased agent can also include a Premium Allowance in its monthly offer. That included agent usage is used first for that agent. Once it is exhausted, further usage depends on your space’s plan and limits. The agent subscription fee and the space subscription are separate. Buying an agent does not upgrade your space to Pro, and having Pro does not buy every paid agent. For example, suppose a fictional agent offer includes 100 credits. Those credits cover usage for that agent; they are not 100 guaranteed replies or a Pro upgrade. When they are spent, check the space’s remaining allowance and on-demand setting before expecting the chat to continue. Buying the same agent again is not a credit-reset action.

Where to see the recorded amounts

For space usage, open Profile Settings and select Consumption. The link initially opens the current space’s Team settings; confirm the space before reading usage. Check the displayed period, used credits and remaining allowance. By Source shows attribution between purchased-agent usage and the platform plan where available. For an agent’s own bundle, open Billing. Under Agent Access and Subscriptions, find the card by agent and creator name. Read the included-usage meter and dates shown there. Check your usage provides the full paths and explains the available views.

Resets, renewals and payment warnings

Use the period shown in Consumption for the space allowance. On an agent card, the subscription renewal date concerns billing; the bundle reset date concerns included usage. They are separate pieces of information and can differ. If a date is unavailable, do not calculate one from when you last sent a message. Spending an agent bundle does not itself cancel that subscription. Likewise, remaining credits do not resolve a failed payment or establish active access. Read the specific allowance, payment or access warning before choosing a remedy. Use What happens when you run out of credits for a usage limit, Fix a failed payment for a payment warning, or Manage your agent subscriptions to inspect an agent’s access and renewal state.
