Open Website settings

- Confirm the website name and address.
Choose the change
The website address is read-only in this dialog. To use a different starting address, add a new website. The available crawl fields may vary with the offered website source. Follow the displayed labels and bounds.
For a fictional shop FAQ collecting unrelated blog pages, add the site’s actual blog section to Pages to skip. For example:
- Enter /blog in Pages to skip.
- Press Enter or Space.
- Check that it appears as a visible exclusion.
Save the settings
Choose one of these actions:- Change the relevant crawl or schedule fields.
- Select the action that matches your goal.
- Read the result.
Check settings and scan outcomes separately
After a rescan, return to the website’s page list and inspect the results and statuses before relying on changed information. A schedule requests future updates; it does not promise that each website edit is immediately known. Saving settings also does not prove a requested scan started. If the settings saved but the scan could not start, read that separate result. Correct the cause, then select Scan again in the website view. You do not need to assume the settings were lost. For the intended agent to use the Library material, check its attachment using Use Library files in an agent. If you cannot make the change
- A field is refused: read its validation message and use the displayed bounds.
- A permission message appears: confirm you are editing the intended website in your own space. Use Get help from a person if the restriction is unexpected.
- The address needs to change: add a new source; do not try to force a value into the read-only field.
