An agent processes the messages and relevant material needed to answer. Its creator may review retained conversations with it. Before sharing information, consider both who can use the agent and who can review its chats. This guide explains the available privacy choices and their limits. For a specific confidentiality or security requirement, contact support@alysium.ai before relying on Alysium for that use.

Choose material for the agent’s audience

When you create an agent, review its knowledge and access before sharing it. For a fictional workshop, approved public class-preparation notes serve a different audience from private attendee records. A public link or website widget gives visitors a way to ask about the material you provide. When you use someone else’s agent, remember that the creator may review retained chats. Do not treat the conversation as a private notebook visible only to you. For practice, use the fictional text in Upload files to your agent instead of private customer data. Keep passwords and full payment-card details out of chats and support requests.

Main-app privacy choices control optional analytics

The main app offers choices for Product analytics and Session Replay. These concern optional feature-use analytics and masked replay. Turning them off does not delete conversations or hide retained chats from an agent’s creator. To find these choices:
  1. Open Team settings.
  2. Select Privacy in Profile Settings.
  3. Read the descriptions beside Product analytics and Session Replay.
If you already have Profile Settings open, select Privacy and continue with step 3. Use Choose your privacy settings for the preference changes and their saved result.

Visitor chats have separate disclosures

Inside the particular agent’s widget, open Account, then Data & Privacy. Read the information for that agent, including retention and creator access. These are the visitor widget’s menus; they are separate from the main app’s sidebar. Visitor data and privacy explains these disclosures. Visitor accounts and saved history explains how visitor history works.

Data removal is a separate task

Turning analytics off, logging out and removing one knowledge attachment do not delete an account. For an account-wide request, use Delete your account or your data. For individual Library content, use Restore or permanently delete from Trash. Check the displayed result and any confirmation from the support team to understand what was completed.

Ask about your specific requirement

If you need a particular certification, confidentiality commitment or rule for sensitive information, describe that requirement to support before adding the material. This guide does not establish a legal certification or promise absolute security. Get help from a person explains what to include in your request.
