Add a prepared skill bundle to your space, then check that the intended agent has it. A skill supplies reusable task guidance. Put business facts and ordinary reference documents into Knowledge instead.

Prepare the bundle

Use a .skill or .zip bundle in the Agent Skills format, prepared by you or someone you trust. Know where it came from and read any description supplied by its author. Renaming a PDF or Word file to .skill does not convert it. Stored scripts can be included in a bundle, but they never execute in Alysium. For example, a fictional customer-answer-guide.skill might describe how to ask clarifying questions and structure answers. That filename is an illustration, rather than a supplied download. Use a bundle you have permission to use, and attach the agent’s actual policy documents separately. Already in the Add a skill dialog? Continue with Upload the bundle.

Open the uploader

  1. Open Home.
  2. Select the intended agent.
  3. Open Build.
  4. Open Settings.
  5. Find Skills.
  6. Select Add skill.
  7. Continue with Upload the bundle.
Home opens your active space, where you choose the agent. If it asks you to sign in, sign in. Open Home again if needed. The dialog is labelled Add a skill. This bundle-upload path is separate from Browse skill library and from Knowledge’s Browse files.

Upload the bundle

  1. Select Browse bundles.
  2. Select the prepared .skill or .zip file.
  3. Wait while it is checked and uploaded.
Selecting the bundle starts intake. Tags help people and agents find the skill; they do not replace its instructions. If validation rejects the package, read the specific message. Ask the bundle author to correct it if you do not know how to prepare skills. Changing extensions to bypass a format error will not fix the bundle. If a tag step appears:
  1. Add relevant tags if you want them.
  2. Select Save tags, or Skip for now to leave tagging for later.
Continue with Confirm the attachment after upload and any tag step.

Confirm the attachment

The upload attempts to attach the skill to the agent. Check the attached Skills list when it finishes, rather than assuming both upload and attachment succeeded. If it is in your space’s skill library but not on the agent:
  1. Open the skill’s details.
  2. Select Attach to agent when offered.
  3. Check the agent’s attached Skills list again.
Upload and attachment actions do not need Design’s Save Changes.

Review and try it

Open the skill’s name and read its contents. Leave it untrusted unless you deliberately want its guidance treated as authoritative. Then test your agent with a task the skill should help with. Review a skill before adding it explains trust, disabling and attachment removal. If you imported the wrong bundle, removing it from the agent differs from retiring it from your space. Use Update or retire a skill you created for the latter task.
