# Invite people to your space

> Understand the current invitation limit: spaces contain only their owner, and self-service invitations cannot add other people with member roles.

Alysium does not currently offer working self-service space invitations. A space contains only its owner; other people cannot currently join it through an invitation and receive a member role.

In [Team settings](https://app.alysium.ai/spaces?settings=team), **Invite People** is disabled. There is no working invitation form or missing email field behind that button. The link opens the Team tab for your active space.

## Share an agent for chatting

If someone only needs to use your agent, follow [Share your agent with a link and QR code](https://docs.alysium.ai/share-and-deploy/share-your-agent-with-a-link-and-qr-code.md). It explains the agent's live state, direct-link setting and actual visitor destination.

[Share a chat link with someone](https://docs.alysium.ai/share-and-deploy/share-a-chat-link-with-someone.md) describes the separate Chat sharing control when your access includes it. Its existing-access option does not invite a new member.

Both kinds of links concern an agent's chat. They do not let a recipient edit the space's files or instructions. For example, a fictional workshop can share its FAQ agent with customers without making them space editors.

## Ask about editing or management needs

If someone needs to edit agents or manage the space with you, explain that need to [support@alysium.ai](mailto:support@alysium.ai) using [Get help from a person](https://docs.alysium.ai/help/get-help-from-a-person.md). Include the space and the work the person needs to do.

A request is not a completed invitation, and no approval or completion time is promised. Do not share your password or account to simulate membership. [Team roles in a space](https://docs.alysium.ai/spaces/team-roles-in-a-space.md) explains the current role limits.
