# Set up Stripe to get paid

> Complete or continue your space's Stripe payment setup for subscriptions and payouts, separately from the AgentHub creator application process.

Complete your space's creator payment setup. Stripe handles card subscriptions and payouts; the [creator application for AgentHub discovery](https://docs.alysium.ai/selling-and-payouts/apply-to-sell-on-agenthub.md) is a separate process.

This setup is the space owner's task. Have the real business, identity and bank information Stripe requests. Supply those details in Stripe's hosted forms, rather than in agent instructions or chat.

**Already on Creator → Setup?** Continue with [Start or continue onboarding](#start-or-continue-onboarding).

## Open payment setup

1. Open [Team settings](https://app.alysium.ai/spaces?settings=team).
2. Select **Creator**.
3. Select **Setup**.
4. Find **Connect Stripe**.
5. Continue with [Start or continue onboarding](#start-or-continue-onboarding).

The link opens your active space's settings on Team; select Creator there. If it asks you to sign in, sign in and reopen the link if needed.

## Start or continue onboarding

Select the action that matches the existing setup:

* **Set up Stripe** starts setup when it has not begun.
* **Continue Stripe onboarding** supplies information needed for the existing account.
* If Stripe has no new form to collect, use [Refresh the existing status](#refresh-the-existing-status).

1. Select the offered setup or onboarding action.
2. Follow Stripe's hosted questions.
3. Provide the real details requested for your account.
4. Return to Alysium's **Creator → Setup**.
5. Select **Refresh Stripe status** when offered.
6. Wait for the check to finish.
7. Read the payment-readiness result.

Stripe's fields depend on your account and review. An example cannot replace a missing identity document; use your actual details and the action Stripe presents.

## Check the remaining setup steps

Setup also shows **Add a bank account**, **Provide tax information** and **Publish your first listing**. Bank and tax work belongs in Stripe. **Open builder** leads to listing preparation; continue with [List your agent on Agenthub](https://docs.alysium.ai/selling-and-payouts/list-your-agent-on-agenthub.md) for that task.

**Open Stripe Express**, when offered for an existing supported Express account, lets you manage bank, payout and tax information in Stripe. Its availability does not establish that the first listing or paid offer is ready.

After working in Stripe, return to Alysium's **Creator → Setup** and continue with [Refresh the existing status](#refresh-the-existing-status).

Finishing a form does not by itself prove that card payments, payouts and every selling requirement are ready.

## Refresh the existing status

If Stripe has nothing more to collect:

1. Select **Refresh Stripe status** in Creator → Setup when offered.
2. Wait for the check to finish.
3. Read the result.
4. Follow [What your Stripe status means](https://docs.alysium.ai/selling-and-payouts/what-your-stripe-status-means.md) for the named next action.

Requested or pending can mean information or review is still needed. A restriction, unreachable-account or support-review message needs attention to the existing account. Do not create replacement accounts to work around it.

## Check readiness before paid selling

Read the setup checklist and payment-readiness result together. Proceed only when the relevant paid-selling checks pass, rather than because you returned from Stripe.

Continue with [Price your agent](https://docs.alysium.ai/selling-and-payouts/price-your-agent.md) and the intended channel's readiness checklist. For an unresolved account or payout problem, contact [billing@alysium.ai](mailto:billing@alysium.ai) with the visible status. Keep bank details and identity documents out of chat.
