# Price your agent

> Set an agent's monthly access fee, included usage, free preview allowance and optional additional usage rate, then check the saved offer.

Set a paid offer with a monthly access fee, included usage, free preview allowance and optional additional usage rate. Use an agent whose selling setup you can manage.

Have your intended monthly USD price and included-credit amount ready. Check the cost and value of your offer rather than copying another agent's price. [Complete Stripe setup](https://docs.alysium.ai/selling-and-payouts/set-up-stripe-to-get-paid.md) before expecting the offer to accept payments.

## Decide what the offer includes

| Choice | What it does |
| - | - |
| Monthly fee | Buys access; it does not promise unlimited conversations. |
| **Premium Allowance** | Included AI usage for that agent. |
| **Free preview messages** | A limited trial funded from your credits. |
| **Usage revenue → Credit multiplier** | Changes the usage rate for eligible additional usage. |

The included allowance must be positive and its dollar value must be less than the monthly fee. The form explains that **100 credits = \$1** of usage value.

For an illustrative valid example, a **$10** monthly access fee with **100** included credits gives **$1** of included usage value. This is an example, not a recommended or current offer.

## Open Pack pricing

1. Open [Home](https://app.alysium.ai/spaces).
2. Select the intended agent.
3. Open **Deploy**.
4. Select **Share & Sell**.
5. Select **Edit subscription setup** under **Buyer access**.
6. Continue with [Enter and save pricing](#enter-and-save-pricing).

Home opens your active space, where you choose the agent. If it asks you to sign in, sign in and open Home again if needed.

## Enter and save pricing

On the **Credit multiplier** slider, **No markup** means standard usage rates. Moving right sets a higher rate. Read the displayed multiplier and percentage before saving. A higher multiplier consumes more buyer credits for the same work; it does not add included credits or change the monthly fee.

Keep standard rates unless you deliberately intend a higher rate for eligible extra usage. [Understand usage and previews](#understand-usage-and-previews) before promising any extra earnings.

1. Enter the recurring fee in **Monthly access price (USD)**.
2. Enter the included credits in **Premium Allowance**.
3. Expand **Free preview messages** if you want to change the trial.
4. If you are changing the trial, set **Number of messages** to the intended count, including zero for no free messages.
5. Expand **Usage revenue**.
6. Review **Credit multiplier**.
7. Adjust the slider only if you intend a different usage rate.
8. Select **Save**.
9. Wait for **Pricing saved**.
10. Inspect the saved summary.

## Activate the intended buyer-access mode

Saving Pack pricing does not switch free access into paid access. Return to **Buyer access** in the same agent's **Deploy → Share & Sell** area.

1. In **Buyer access**, select **Paid subscription**.
2. Read the warning.
3. Confirm **Switch to paid** if that is the intended outcome.
4. Wait for the saved result.
5. Check the displayed buyer-access mode.

Choosing **Free access**, then confirming **Switch to free**, is a separate action. It stops asking new buyers to subscribe after saving; it does not erase a subscriber's prior bill.

## Understand usage and previews

Preview messages use your credits, not the visitor's. Included agent usage is used first. Additional buyer usage depends on the space plan and limits.

Creator usage-margin earnings apply to eligible Pro buyers after the agent allowance is spent. Preview and included usage do not earn that extra margin. A slider above standard does not mean every interaction earns extra revenue.

## If pricing cannot save or selling is blocked

Correct the field messages, especially an allowance value equal to or greater than the access price. **Cancel** is not Save; heed an unsaved-changes confirmation if you leave.
