# Share Library items with your team

> Understand the current Library sharing limit: your space contains only its owner, and invitations, teammates and member roles are unavailable.

You cannot currently share Library folders or projects with teammates in your space. Your space contains only you, its owner. Inviting other members and assigning member roles are unavailable.

A Library sharing control does not send a new space invitation or create another member. Sharing material with a person and attaching it to an agent are different kinds of access.

## Reuse material across your own agents

You can keep one saved source in [Library](https://app.alysium.ai/library) and attach it to several agents in your space. Library opens the current space's files, folders and projects. Reusing a source does not require another upload for each agent.

Start with [Attach Library items to an agent](https://docs.alysium.ai/knowledge-and-library/attach-library-items-to-an-agent.md) to select a source and choose its agents. If you are already working on one agent, use [Use Library files in an agent](https://docs.alysium.ai/knowledge-and-library/use-library-files-in-an-agent.md).

Choose the attachment scope deliberately. A single file supplies that source. An attached folder or project covers its eligible contents, including material added there later. For example, keep approved FAQ material separate from drafts before attaching an entire folder.

This reuse lets several agents consult the same material. It does not give another person access to manage your Library.

## Sharing an agent is a different task

You can share an agent so people can ask it questions about suitable knowledge. Follow [Share your agent with a link and QR code](https://docs.alysium.ai/share-and-deploy/share-your-agent-with-a-link-and-qr-code.md) for the supported chat-sharing path and its access requirements.

A chat link does not invite someone into your space or give them permission to manage its files. Choose approved knowledge before making it available through an agent; sharing the chat is not a way to provide team Library access.

If collaboration on the Library is essential to your work, [contact the Alysium team](https://docs.alysium.ai/help/get-help-from-a-person.md) and describe that need.
