# Billing and usage messages

> Match a billing notice to the affected space or agent, then distinguish usage exhaustion, payment issues and unavailable subscription details.

Match the notice to the affected space or agent before changing a plan or payment. Your space's Pro plan and a subscription to an individual agent are separate purchases. Usage exhaustion, a payment issue and unavailable subscription details need different actions.

[Billing](https://app.alysium.ai/spaces?settings=billing) opens your active space's billing settings. To check usage, [open settings](https://app.alysium.ai/spaces?settings=team), then select **Consumption**. That settings link opens **Team** first; it does not open Consumption directly.

## Subscription Details Unavailable

This notice means Alysium could not confirm the plan details. It does not establish that you are on Free, canceled or unpaid.

Use **Open Billing Portal** when offered, or reopen Billing to retry the read. Check the existing subscription before starting another one because its summary is missing.

## Included credits or an on-demand limit reached

Check **Consumption** for the affected space and period. Then check the plan and **On-Demand Usage** in Billing.

Free stops at its allowance. Pro can also stop when extra usage is disabled or its fixed additional-spending cap has been reached. Follow [Check your usage](https://docs.alysium.ai/plans-and-billing/check-your-usage.md) to identify the usage, then [Turn on overages and set a cap](https://docs.alysium.ai/plans-and-billing/turn-on-overages-and-set-a-cap.md) if that is the change you intend.

A changed but unsaved menu selection does not confirm a higher limit. Check the saved result before returning to the blocked task.

## An agent's included bundle is exhausted

Find the affected agent under **Agent Access and Subscriptions** in Billing. Its premium-usage meter describes that agent's included bundle.

Continued usage after the bundle is spent depends on your space's plan and limits. This is a different condition from a free preview ending or a paid subscription being canceled. See [Manage your agent subscriptions](https://docs.alysium.ai/plans-and-billing/manage-your-agent-subscriptions.md).

## A payment needs attention

For the space's Pro subscription, use **Manage Subscription & Billing**. An agent payment-warning card can instead offer **Fix billing**, which opens that creator's payment management.

Update the payment for the subscription named in the warning, then check its resulting status. Another subscription being active does not clear this warning. [Fix a failed payment](https://docs.alysium.ai/plans-and-billing/fix-a-failed-payment.md) explains the recovery.

## A visitor sees the creator's message limit

The creator needs to check the space that owns the agent. A visitor cannot increase that creator's credits from the chat.

For example, when several visitors see the same message-limit notice, the creator should inspect the owning space's allowance. Asking each visitor to buy again does not address that limit.

## The notice still conflicts with the account status

Reopen the relevant Billing or Consumption page and compare its status with the exact notice. If they still conflict, contact [billing@alysium.ai](mailto:billing@alysium.ai) with the space, agent, period and message. [Get help from a person](https://docs.alysium.ai/help/get-help-from-a-person.md) explains what to include.

For a trial, checkout or access notice, use [Free preview and paywall messages](https://docs.alysium.ai/help/free-preview-and-paywall-messages.md). Dismissing a notice does not complete a billing change.
