# Create an Alysium account

> Create an Alysium account to build and manage agents in your personal space. Guest access to another agent does not provide a building space.

Create an account to build and manage your own agents. Your personal space holds those agents, files and plan usage. Guest access to someone else's agent does not provide a space where you can build.

Use an inbox you can open now if you register with email. The name you enter identifies you, rather than the agent you will create later. If you already registered, follow [Sign in to Alysium](https://docs.alysium.ai/getting-started/sign-in-to-alysium.md).

If you are continuing from a guest chat, stay in that account flow without logging out. [Use Alysium as a guest](https://docs.alysium.ai/getting-started/use-alysium-as-a-guest.md) explains how to start the transition from the chat.

## Choose a registration method

Open [Create an account](https://app.alysium.ai/auth/signup). Choose [email and password](#register-with-email-and-password), or [Google](#register-with-google).

**Already submitted your details?** Continue with [Finish the step shown](#finish-the-step-shown).

## Register with email and password

1. Enter your given name in **First Name**.
2. Enter your family name in **Last Name**.
3. Enter your own address in **Email**.
4. Check the email spelling.
5. Enter a new **Password** with at least 8 characters.
6. Complete the verification check if shown.
7. Select **Create an Account**.
8. Continue with [Finish the step shown](#finish-the-step-shown).

For example, a workshop owner enters their own name here, rather than **Workshop FAQ** as a personal name. Choose your own password; do not copy a tutorial password.

## Register with Google

1. Select **Continue with Google** on the account screen.
2. Choose the Google account you want to use for Alysium.
3. Complete its prompts.
4. Continue with [Find your new space](#find-your-new-space) after account setup and sign-in finish.

Use that same Google identity when returning. You do not need an unrelated email/password account because you registered with Google.

## Finish the step shown

If asked to confirm your email, open the message in your inbox and follow its instructions. Check spam if it has not arrived.

A guest-account transition can instead show **Verification code**:

1. Check the email address displayed on the screen.
2. Retrieve the code sent to that address.
3. Enter the code in **Verification code**.
4. Select **Verify and create account**.

If **Choose a password** appears:

1. Enter the password you want to use.
2. Select **Set password**.

Complete the existing flow so the guest chats can remain connected. After it finishes, check the actual account and available conversations rather than assuming every transition succeeded.

## Find your new space

When confirmation and sign-in are complete, open [Home](https://app.alysium.ai/spaces). It opens your account's active space. Look for the agents area and **Create New Agent**.

The account and personal space are the result of setup; you still need to create the agent. Continue with [Create your first agent](https://docs.alysium.ai/build-your-agent/create-your-first-agent.md).

## If registration does not finish

If **Create an Account** stays unavailable, check both names, email format, password length and verification. [Fix a verification check](https://docs.alysium.ai/getting-started/fix-a-verification-check.md) covers that form check.

For a missing email, check spam and the address you entered. An already-registered message means use sign-in. [Sign-in and verification messages](https://docs.alysium.ai/help/sign-in-and-verification-messages.md) explains the individual notices.

If Google reports an error or another problem continues, read the exact message and use [Get help from a person](https://docs.alysium.ai/help/get-help-from-a-person.md). Keep passwords and verification codes out of the request.
