# What you can build with Alysium

> Explore agents that explain reference information or guide a structured conversation, then start with one audience and one job you can check.

You can build an agent that explains reference information or guides a structured conversation. Start with one audience and one job so you can check whether it helps.

An agent combines instructions, an AI model and attached knowledge. The examples below are fictional project ideas; you supply the real information for your own agent.

## An information helper

A workshop FAQ agent could explain what attendees should bring and where to find class notes, using approved documents or readable website pages.

Put factual reference material in **Knowledge** and behavior rules in **Agent Instructions**. For example, ask the agent to check which class a visitor means and to say when a requested policy is missing. The source needs to contain the actual policy before the agent can explain it reliably.

Use [Upload files to your agent](https://docs.alysium.ai/knowledge-and-library/upload-files-to-your-agent.md) for a document or [Paste text as knowledge](https://docs.alysium.ai/knowledge-and-library/paste-text-as-knowledge.md) for a short note.

## A guided conversation

An agent can ask questions and provide a structured discussion using instructions and skills. Official examples include **Business Idea Validator**, **Product Positioning Coach** and **Product Roadmap Coach**. Explore [AgentHub](https://app.alysium.ai/agenthub) and inspect the individual offer.

These agents illustrate conversational assistance. Their names do not establish that they research the live web or perform business actions for you.

## A chat people can reach

From [Home](https://app.alysium.ai/spaces), open your agent. Use **Build** to develop it, **Design** to adjust its visitor appearance and **Deploy** to choose a sharing method.

A [standalone link and QR code](https://docs.alysium.ai/share-and-deploy/share-your-agent-with-a-link-and-qr-code.md) let people open its chat directly. A [website widget](https://docs.alysium.ai/share-and-deploy/put-your-agent-on-your-website.md) puts the chat window on a site you manage. [Selling agents with Alysium](https://docs.alysium.ai/about-alysium/selling-agents-with-alysium.md) introduces paid offers and marketplace listings.

Each route has its own setup. Designing the widget does not install it on a website, and making an agent live does not automatically create a marketplace listing.

## Keep the job within the available capabilities

Describing an online shop does not import its catalog. Uploading a guide does not authorize order changes. Choose a first job that uses information and conversation you can test. [What Alysium cannot do yet](https://docs.alysium.ai/help/what-alysium-cannot-do-yet.md) explains the current limits.

To build a first version, follow [Create your first agent](https://docs.alysium.ai/build-your-agent/create-your-first-agent.md) and attach a small source. Ask one question the source answers and one it does not. [Test your agent while you build](https://docs.alysium.ai/build-your-agent/test-your-agent-while-you-build.md) explains that workflow.
